About Us

Our Story
KwaziThina Publishers was born on October 18, 2019, with the release of our founder’s autobiography, Abortion by Womb of Democracy. This book marked the beginning of our journey as a publishing house. In 2020, our founder’s teenage sons joined the literary adventure, each penning their own books. Their contributions inspired the naming of KwaziThina Publishers, a testament to their shared passion for storytelling.
Initially, our focus was on promoting the works of our founder and his sons. By 2021, we expanded our mission to welcome other authors, providing a platform for authentic African voices. Today, KwaziThina Publishers stands as a beacon for empowering African storytelling, celebrating literary excellence, fostering a culture of reading and writing, and preserving cultural heritage.

Our Mission
We believe in publishing books as catalysts for change, amplifying underrepresented narratives, and shaping the future of literature and education across Africa and its global diaspora. Rooted in African ownership and perspective, our mission is to ensure every voice is heard.
What We Do

"I know that burning feeling. The stories that keep you up at night, the characters who whisper in your ear, demanding to be heard. As an African author myself, I've felt that deep frustration of having these powerful narratives inside me but nowhere fertile enough to plant them. We're often told our stories don't fit the mold, that there isn't a market for our voices. But I refused to accept that, and that's why I created KTP—a home where African stories can truly take root and flourish. Because your voice matters. Your stories deserve to be told. And I'm here to help you bring them to life."
