Nomawele Njongo’s story begins in the precinct of Parliament of Reuplic of South Africa. Where she became a victim of gender-based abuse as a 21-years-old woman, in the hands of the then political big wig Mbulelo Goniwe. After speaking about the incident, she witnessed how people that did her wrong continued to attack her, and how the system was pitted against her as a vulnerable young woman.
